It regulates generator output voltage and is engineered for A-type circuits, making it compatible with both positive and negative ground electrical systems. Terminals are Battery (BAT), Generator (GEN), and Field (FLD), with the ground connection made through the base mount. Output is rated at 15 to 18 amps.
