This 12-volt direct drive (DD) starter motor with counterclockwise (CCW) rotation and a 9-tooth pinion gear fits a wide range of John Deere riding mowers, zero-turn mowers, and lawn/garden tractors, as well as compatible Kohler, Toro, Cub Cadet, and Ford/New Holland equipment. It replaces Denso OEM starters and is a direct bolt-in replacement using two unthreaded 8.5mm mounting ears.
